An Economic Mathematical Fuzzy Model for Data Envelopment Analysis

Performance assessment is a central to the management process in any type of organization. In addition, making rational economical decisions improve organizational performance daunting task, as organization typically multi-faceted entity which rely on complex systems that use uncertain information. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) powerful quantitative tool makes multiple inputs and outputs obtain useful information about efficiency an many real-life applications, observations are usually fuzzy nature. Therefore, DEA measurement may be sensitive such variations. The purpose this study develop unified model handles variables different natures (vague deterministic) independently can adapted both input- output-oriented problems, whether it constant/variable return scale. To handle specially economic model, -cut approach was adopted. implementation demonstrated through illustrative case study. Managers will able identify remedy underperformance, well design regulations aim encourage ensure consumers benefit from resulting gains.
